How TrendLens estimates SaaS revenue
Short answer: TrendLens does not claim to know a company's exact revenue. It scans up to 19 public source types per product, turns the usable signals into a monthly revenue range (low, best, high) with a confidence score from 0 to 100, and lists the evidence used. Revenue is labelled disclosed only when the founder published it.
Coverage today
- 20,132 SaaS products tracked from public launch & directory signals, launched 2026-08-22 to 2026-09-21, in 25 categories.
- 8,272 of them scanned so far (126,091 source checks, 7,737 returned data).
- 175 products have a revenue estimate; 14 of those have confidence of 80 or more. The other products have no revenue figure on TrendLens.
- 9,252 pricing tiers from 2,929 products, and 1,936 customer reviews and ratings published on product websites.
The 19 public source types
Each product is checked against the same list. 17 source types have returned data at least once; two are currently blocked for automated access. On every profile we show two numbers: sources scanned for that product and sources that returned data.

Evidence weights
| Evidence type | Weight |
|---|---|
| Founder-disclosed MRR, ARR or customer count (with link) | Highest (5/5) |
| Self-reported figures on the product website or launch listing | Medium (3/5) |
| Ad activity | Medium (3/5) |
| Public pricing page (ARPU) | Lower (2/5) |
Older claims lose weight over time (half-life 180 days).
How the range is computed
- Each usable signal produces its own monthly revenue estimate (for example customer count × price from the pricing page).
- Estimates are combined, weighting disclosed revenue highest.
- The best estimate is the weighted centre; the published range is half to one and a half times the best estimate.
- Confidence rises with the weight and number of agreeing signals and falls when only one weak signal exists.
What the confidence score means
- 80–100: founder-disclosed revenue, usually backed by pricing.
- 50–79: several signals agree, or a disclosure without a second signal.
- Below 50: a single self-reported or indirect signal; treat as a lead to research, not a fact. Most estimates today are in this band (median about 25).
Limits
Public signals cannot see churn, profit, enterprise contracts or private revenue. Self-reported customer counts can include free users, which inflates low-confidence estimates. Estimates are recomputed weekly and change as new evidence appears.
